    No i know what it does, second pc just doesnt sound right tho. second pc run the unblocker and it flips your bus? most anti cheats log when they flip it and if they run a second log your banned. And yes dma can be a money drain if you buy firmware from people who are just in it for the money which is 90 percent of the sellers these days gotta either make your own firmware or find that 10 percent half of the community just resells in a group selling the same shit. Look at the val scene with there "NVMe" firmware wait tell vgk slams a text file on it and tries to read it. Watch the wave and how many dma providers exit

    the reason most people go with dma over getting there own shit signed or finding a vuln is because most times you are good for maybe 1-2 bans dma makes it 10 time harder in the fact one little hiccup could ban a lot of legits. One pc is fine and all but most days you see majority of top 500 users are running 2pc colors or ai, lots went to dma for the fact they usually last longer and unless there firmware is straight dogshit you arent holding a 152 just getting a simple block. 1pc are usually overcharging there shit for 120-150 a month and some are even charging 300+ for really priv stuff. But with dma you only need firmware and a sub. Chances of holding a ban are slim ofc unless you are buying from a shit provider or just are really really bad. Idk the risk being cut into not having to hwid perm, getting a new acc, buying a new tpm, on top of that getting no help from the people you spent 150+ on just blame you. And something most people dont care to research or understand is when you hit immo 3+ on val almost always you are getting delayed within a day or two. So to answer your question most people want that security knowing they arent holding a hwid and its way cheaper than all this one pc stuff available.
